Dear Family and Friends, We want to thank-you for visiting our web site frequently. God has been doing so much in our life and marriage lately, that we are overwhelmed with His blessings. Currently Jhan and I are taking over slowly the youth ministry department at our church. We are loving every moment of it, and are blessed through all the youth that we are able to disciple every couple of days.
We are planning on taking a small team to Fiji in 2010! We are so excited and waiting to see what God will do, and how our team will come together. Hopefully we will stay at the places that I was able to when I was doing my DTS in 2007 and went to Fiji on my outreach. We are putting together the team slowly, and are waiting and praying about finances. Also, check out the church's web site that I built for them... (www.WheatfieldFirstBaptistChurch.blogspot.com) There are lots of pictures of our youth kids and our church members and the events that we've done since 2008! This one is updated monthly also.
The other news is that we are in the process of getting approved for a loan to build our first house! God has already provided the property to put our house on, now we're just waiting to see if we can build on it. The plan is to start building it in February and hopefully be done by this summer. We are so excited, and have the floor plans ready. We are now just leaving it in God's hands to bring things together.
Status on our family-to-be...I'm sure many of you have been dying to hear when we're going to have a family of 3, well, to make it clear, we have been waiting for God's Will in this. It has been quite hard since the miscarriage last June, and it's been the hardest for me (every certain part of the month is spent in tears, but ends up in thanksgiving and prayer). But we are confident that some day we will be parents and will love and cherish our children that God will one day give us. Until then, we are waiting, praying, and praying more. We will continue to do what God has called us to do, until His Will is made perfect along with His Timing. Thank-you all for your prayers and encouragement. Keep us in your prayers. And pray for our future Baby Gear, and when that is to happen. God bless you all.
I am excited to say that God is really blessing my passion for photography. We were blessed with a brand new Mac Book (laptop), a Nikon Digital Camera, a photography editing program, etc. So I have made a web site for the photography work I've been doing. Jhan is currently working hard and is wanting to get started on our house, but is loving being a Youth Leader/somewhat Youth Pastor. I am proud of him, because he does the youth ministry for free. His heart's desire is to share God's heart with the Youth of this generation by reaching out to them one teenager at a time, and be real with them!
